Overview
This training day is designed for Tutors and Assessors from centres who deliver or who wish to deliver the CYQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing in the context of Exercise and Physical Activity for Children. This practical training day provides an overview of the theory and practical elements of the syllabus with suggested methods for delivery and assessment.
The day includes a practical workshop, so please wear appropriate attire.
Delegates will cover:
- Overview of syllabus and assessment specification
- Interpretation of the assessment criteria
- Standardisation of assessment
- Practical guidance for childrens’ exercise/activity sessions
