Overview
Guidance for the standardisation of the CYQ Level 1 Award in Fitness and Physical Activity and Award in Lifestyle Management, including guidelines for delivery and standardisation of assessment practice.
This training day will be divided into two parts: Fitness and Physical Activity (am) and Lifestyle Management (pm).
Delegates will cover:
- Overview of syllabus and assessment specification
- Interpretation of the assessment criteria
- Guidance for tutors to establish an appropriate level for practical and theoretical assessments
- Examination of delivery and assessment methods
- Guidance for recording assessment evidence
- Requirements for quality assurance
- Review of resources available
