Sport, Recreation and Allied Occupations: Operational Services

This qualification is suitable for those working in a sport and recreation environment. This includes the roles of Lifeguards, Leisure Attendants, Leisure Receptionist and Customer Service Advisors.

Candidates will learn:

  • How to promote safety in the leisure environment
  • How to contribute to the work of a team
  • How to work with customers and promote a positive image

Structure

*Candidates are required to complete three mandatory units and four optional units to achieve the full NVQ.

There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification.

Assessment
Candidates are required to build a portfolio of evidence to meet the performance criteria listed in all three mandatory units and four optional units.
