NVQ in Leisure Management

This qualificaton is relevant for candidates currently working in the leisure industry. It is designed to develop the skills required for a management role within a fitness environment. These skills are learned and assessed while the candidate is in the workplace.

Candidates will learn:

  • The essential skills to develop themselves and their career in the active leisure sector
  • How to contribute to an improved customer experience
  • How to ensure the health, safety and welfare of customers
  • To work with and develop staff teams

Structure

*Candidates are required to complete all of the mandatory units plus five optional units to achieve the full NVQ.

Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification.

Assessment
This may be assessed via:
  1. Work based observation
  2. Witness testimonies
  3. Evidence collected in the work place
