Upcoming events for 2010
Healthy FE National Conference - 19th January 2010, Emirates Stadium, London
This one day event, which has the theme of "putting partnership at the heart of delivering health and wellbeing to staff and learners in further education," is designed to facilitate networking and provide opportunities to share ideas for best practice. Delegates will have access to tailored workshop sessions, an insight into the importance of healthy FE and ideas for successful delivery.

Sports Colleges Conference - 10th and 11th February 2010, The International Centre, Telford
This popular event for schools, FE colleges and private training providers will be focusing on the build up to (and legacy provided by) London 2012. The conference will also provide both ideas and inspiration to maximise learning and achievement for young people, against the backdrop of the new education and sporting landscape. CYQ will be exhibiting at the event, so we hope to see you there!

Employment opportunities for assessors and internal verifiers
We often receive enquiries from prospective CYQ centres seeking assessors and internal verifiers (IVs). To support these centres as they progress through the approval process, we are compiling a list of assessors and IVs who would be willing to offer their services to them. If you would like to be included on this list, please email your name, phone number and your preferred contact email address to verification@cyq.org.uk.
In your email, please list the qualifications for which you are qualified to assess/verify, plus your assessor and/or IV qualifications. Please note that although you may be approved as a member of staff for a current centre, you would still be required to go through the approval process of the centre for which you will be working.
CYQ Administration Handbook discontinued
Following the launch of the revised CYQ website, the Administration Handbook has now been discontinued. The information and forms it contained can now be found on our website:
