According to Ofqual’s Annual Qualifications Market Report 2012, which provides an overview of the scale, activity and players within the qualifications market, Central YMCA Qualifications remains the market leading awarding organisation for the health, fitness and wellbeing sector. From 2009/2010 to 2010/2011, CYQ has seen a steady growth of 17% in the number of certificates awarded; which compares favourably to other organisations.
In 2011, CYQ issued a total of 43,984 certificates which means that since CYQ was established in 1998 the awarding organisation has issued a total of 363,106 certificates.
