Lori Randall, Director of Business Development at CYQ, paid a recent visit to students at CYQ accredited centre Future Focus, to present them with their certificates in Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym). It was the centre's first cohort of learners since gaining CYQ accreditation.
As well as presenting the certificates, Lori watched a presentation from one of the students on the rising levels of obesity, something which is having an impact on health and wellbeing in Malta.
Another successful graduate Mark Brincat, who is studying to be a doctor specialising in cardiology, said he felt the CYQ qualification would give him a greater understanding of health and fitness and allow him to support his patients more effectively.
Rosanne Galea, MD of Future Focus said: 'We are proud of our relationship and grateful to the staff at CYQ for their support. There has been a steady growth in the number of students applying for the CYQ qualifications and this is because our students realise that the CYQ standards are high and they will get a worthwhile qualification.'
Future Focus is now about to embark on delivering the CYQ L3 Certificate in Personal Training to their first cohort of learners.
