CYQ announce annual growth of 17%

CYQ has issued over 37,000 certificates to successful candidates during the last financial year - a 17% increase on 2006/7.

The significant rise caps another year of expansion for CYQ who approved 22 new training centres across the UK and internationally, including those in India and Cyprus.

The past year also saw the launch of the awarding body’s new qualifications: the Level 1 Award in Lifestyle Management and Level 3 Certificate in Fitness Instructing Exercise to Music.  

Jean Ann Marnoch, CYQ Director, said: “It is fantastic that more fitness professionals than ever are starting or enhancing their careers with an internationally recognised CYQ approved qualification. I believe the reasons for that growth are that we continue to not compromise on standards; that we understand and meet the needs of the fitness industry and individuals; and that we go that one step further in consistently seeking to raise standards across the sector.
