How long does it take to become a centre?

It takes approximately six to eight weeks from initial enquiry to becoming a fully approved CYQ centre, dependent on you providing all the required information for us to review.

What does my centre need to deliver a CYQ qualification?

All Tutor, Assessor and Internal Verifier requirements are listed in the CYQ Qualifications and Fees Guide. To request a copy of the CYQ Qualifications and Fees Guide, email info@cyq.org.uk

What are the requirements for requesting theory papers?

Requests are required a minimum of five working days prior to the assessment. Papers are allocated up to a maximum of 15 working days prior to the exam. Your centre should inform CYQ of the number of candidates, assessment date, type of theory paper and previously allocated papers for any re-sits. 

How are contacts for centres changed?

Complete a Centre Contact Details Update Form (available from the password protected centre area) and return to the Verification Department at CYQ. 

How do I obtain a replacement certificate?

Submit a Replacement Certificate Request Form (available from the password protected centre area) together with a copy of the original CQ2 form.

How do I get a replacement results sheet?

Inform CYQ of the assessment date and paper version.

How do I send in completed theory papers?

Send via recorded delivery to:

Central YMCA Qualifications, 112 Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3NQ

Photocopy completed answer papers and destroy them once you receive the result sheet.
